Course Overview
You will be getting valuable research experience in this program that will allow you to learn some basic research techniques needed to accomplish a research project. Both weekly meetings and lab time will be spent in a fully functional research laboratory that has been designed with an educational purpose. Since this course is relatively new, some aspects of the course will evolve from what is listed in this syllabus. You will be notified ahead of time if any changes are to be made.
What is a Biobrick?
A BioBrick is a standard for interchangable parts, developed with a view to building biological systems in living cells.
Our specific research project centers around the initiation factor eIF3.
